The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) is a unique sports, entertainment, and real estate organization built around a public-private partnership with the City of Ottawa. OSEG owns and operates the Ottawa REDBLACKS (CFL) and Ottawa 67’s (OHL), manages the Arena and Stadium at TD Place, which is also home to Atletico Ottawa, Ottawa Rapid FC, the Ottawa Charge and the Ottawa BlackJacks, and oversees 360,000 square feet of mixed-use retail at Lansdowne. The site hosts more than 180 live events annually, welcoming over four million visitors.

 

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration is responsible for ensuring OSEG operates with the financial discipline, clarity, and operational support required to deliver sustainable profitability and long-term success. Not limited to financial reporting and control, the Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration will act as a strategic business partner to all areas of the organization, facilitating better overall accountability. This role is central to OSEG’s next phase, where improved financial performance must come from better decisions, better alignment, and better execution across all departments.

 

The ideal candidate is a senior finance and operations executive who brings maturity, judgment, and strategic perspective, combined with a highly pragmatic, resultsoriented mindset. This individual will show genuine enthusiasm for OSEG’s product, mission, and community impact, and are comfortable in an environment that blends professionalism with passion, urgency with enjoyment, and discipline with creativity. They will see leadership as stewardship, balancing performance expectations with care for people and culture.

 

Equally comfortable operating at the enterprise level and in close partnership with functional leaders, the successful candidate will enable OSEG’s next phase of growth by translating strategy into financial clarity, pushing accountability deep into the organization, and ensuring the finance, IT, and administrative functions are strong, enabling, and reliable.
